We take our guests and staff's health and wellbeing seriously at Rudha-na-Craige and have implemented best-practices for our staff and guests in line with government guidelines.


During these difficult times, we will all need to adapt and changes some ways of working and living which may consequently change our offerings.

New processes for cleaning and hygiene


Our team members have been trained in enhanced cleaning routines for guest bedrooms and common areas.


We will be following COVID-19 guidelines provided by local health authorities.


Enhanced cleaning

  • High-touch communal areas, such as bathrooms, door handles, bannisters are disinfected and cleaned with a higher frequency

  • Guest bedrooms will be thoroughly and deeply cleaned with special attention to high touch areas such as light switches, remote controls, and furniture

  • Hand alcohol stations are installed at our entrance, breakfast room and first floor landing

  • All tables, menus and chairs in our breakfast room are thoroughly sanitised before and after breakfast

  • Loose items such as pens, note pads and information material are removed from rooms

  • Daily room turn-down service is currently suspended.  Linen and towel changes available on request


Physical distancing

  • We have created a more spacious breakfast room 

  • Revised food & drink offerings in the breakfast.  Self-service is currenrtly suspended



  • We have always taken a fair and pragmatic approach to our guests reservations during the COVID19 pandemic
  • If we cannot open due to COVID-19 restrictions we will offer a full refund, change of date or a full credit for a future reservation - your preference!
  • If a guest cannot travel due to local restrictions or choose not to, then we will offer a change of date or a full credit that can be used on a future reservation once we are given as much notice as possible
